Dr Maneesha De Silva

Dr Maneesha De Silva does residential care visits and in-clinic consultations at Parkmore Medical Centre. Maneesha also has a public hospital role working at Monash Health.

She completed her medical degree from the University of Otago (NZ) in 2007 and subsequently specialised in Geriatric Medicine at Monash Health. She is passionate about improving health outcomes in the elderly.

• Maneesha has a particular interest in dementia, delirium, falls and bone health, palliative care, nutrition in the elderly and older persons’ mental health.

• She is a member of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, Australian and New Zealand Society for Geriatric Medicine and The Internal Medicine Society of Australia and New Zealand.

Outside work hours, Maneesha enjoys spending time with her kids.

Maneesha is also fluent in Sinhalese.
