Dr. Liyana has been providing care at our clinic since November 2024. She is a dedicated and compassionate GP with over 15 years of experience in various medical fields. After completing her medical degree in Sri Lanka, she gained extensive experience in pediatrics, emergency medicine, and general practice. In 2012, she migrated to Australia, where she continued her medical career and earned her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2018.
Dr. Liyana has a special interest in pediatrics. She is also passionate about women’s health and mental health. She is committed to providing holistic and patient-centered care.
In addition to English, Dr. Liyana speaks Sinhalese, enabling her to connect with a broader range of patients. In her leisure time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and traveling.
